I would start around CD10? Depends on your cycle, if you are fairly regular I would start testing twice daily from CD10 until you get a positive. 🙂 I always tested with second urine of the day and then again in the aftenroon (say 2-3pm) so I would be sure to catch a surge. If the lines were looking really close, I’d test for a 3rd time to see if I got a positive. 🙂 Good luck!

@yougotme:  I probably wouldnt go any earlier than 10. 10 will most likely be a negative– do you have a short or a long cycle?  If it’s 28 days you shouldnt be too far from the 14 day mark, give or take a few. But then again, that doesn’t apply to everyone. It should be a very clear indication when you test.

my cycles had been anywhere from 22 to 28 days, I started testing at CD6 and got positive OPK’s on CD 15 and CD 16….

It was my first month using OPK’s so althoughI’m sure I started way too early, I didn’nt want to miss the surge and had no idea when I was ovulating so I fugred at least the first monht using them I would just expand my window just in case, and then  narrow it the next month based on when I determined my surge was.

I got my BFP on CD 28 the first month using OPK’s, so I never did get to use them again.
