That first one is amazing!!

They are all so lovely! BEAUTIFUL!
Keep in mind though, if your wedding really is nearly two years away, you may want to wait a little bit in case your taste changes. Two years out can get really long for you if you’re already dress shopping. Then the eye wanders and dress regret is a real thing. 😉

You rock the fuck out of the dori, but if you love the last one, get it! It is really unique and you look fab in it!

Normally I come to these boards and within seconds of seeing the photos of options I’m all ‘THAT one for sure is the winner’. However you look stunning in all of them! Holy Smokes!! I don’t think you can go wrong, they all suit you and you will surely be a gorgeous bride. Go with the one YOU love the most. Congrats Bee!

I love the first one! They are all really pretty though.

I like the Decklyn the most without the stripes! Gorgeous on your body.

sapphire27 : Thank you 🙂 glad you love my favourite as well 🙂
ecampbell : Thx! Oh I’m happy you found a dress that you loved within your budget! I tried on some other styles as well like mermaid or more fitted and I did not like them at all. The silhoutette is definitely important.
thistle89 : I’m more of a classic girl so I think that’s why I loved that one so much. It’s very elegant and simple but still quite special because of the skirt. And I agree, the pics of my favourite dress are unfortunately not so clear. I did feel my waist was very small in that dress.
Thank you! I’m still doing some shopping in Belgium in April/May so I will see if I keep going back to the other dress, than I should go back to London with my mom.

girlgt : Thank you! My hesitation with Dori is that it’s a bit too much sparkle for me. I don’t think it really suits me, but I agree it’s a gorgeous dress!
canhorsegal : Yes I agree, i definitely found the silhoutte I liked. I tried on other styles but I did not like the way they made me feel and how they looked. Thx for your comment 🙂
Mrs. Meowerson :
Yes it’s a beautiful gown!
Glad you love my favourite 🙂

That’s exactly why loved this one! I have tried a sparkly belt with it, but I preferred it plain. I’m a really classic, elegant dresser kind of girl so I think it just suited my personality very well.
Thx, the shape of this one was very nice as well. It still had the very full bottom which I love.
Thank you 😀 I was sure I would be all over the HP but Alvina just suited me better.
Thx for you opinion. I did feel more like cake topper with the HP Dori and the Londyn (I did not post a pic of that one because I did not like the strapless) but they were so poofy and difficult to walk in! Both the Alvina’s felt lighter and more elegant. I should have had a photo of the last Alvina from further away so you could see it’s not as poofy as the others.
Congrats on your dress! It’s a beautiful gown, but for my style it was a bit too modern.
Thank you so much 🙂 And I agree about Decklyn, I think it’s a beautiful dress but I think maybe in 6 months I would feel differently about it.

Oh that’s so nice, thank you so much 🙂
Haha I have to say I didn’t even notice it while trying on dresses :p It’s not my style at all so I totally overlooked it :p

cinnapep : Thank you 🙂
Thank you 🙂 And yes I also feel I went shopping a little to early. I just happened to be in London at the time and I don’t think I would have gone back for another year so it was the moment to see if the styles I loved actually look good on me and where in budget. Now I know they are I can go back with my mother in August/September to buy the dress.
Haha, thank you so much 🙂
Ooh thank you for lovely comment. That’s so nice of you to say 🙂
Thx, I think without the stripes it would make the dress more classic. It’s a shame you cannot try it on like that. Maybe it would give me another feeling.

One thing to consider with buying a dress overseas is where to have it tailored (unless you are lucky enough to have a perfect fit from a standard size). I live overseas and bought a dress this summer when I went home so that my mom and Future Mother-In-Law could be a part of the shopping process, but I am struggling to find a place to get it tailored where I live. I may end up in a 3rd country just to find an actual wedding dress tailor.

the dress with stripes! The most original and insanely flattering on you. The stripes make you look so tall and thin. The dress with the stripes blows everything else out, especially that first dress. The problem with heavily beaded gowns is that they don’t look so hot on pictures. Beads look like dark dots or shadows. Just look at your photos and you’ll see what I mean.
