I usually shop Victorias Secret. Modcloth also has super cute bathing suits if you’re into more retro-y styles.

I like Vix brand suits and Target is carrying a diffusion line this spring that is like 1/3 of the regular price

I love bathing suits from Victoria’s Secret. I’d give them a shot – definitely look at the reviews to help guide you with sizing because different cuts so tend to run small/big. I did and didn’t have to return or exchange anything. Have fun shopping!

Anything from VS will be fine to wear to the beach. I prefer to have my butt covered a bit more cuz I’m a smidge larger, but it’s perfectly normal to show it off a bit if you want to.

lstewart232:  I also think showing some bum is the norm… especially in most parts of Florida so if you’ve got the booty go for it!

I usually get my bathing suits from target, they’re much cheaper than VS and in my opinion just as cute. I feel most comfortable in the “booty shorts” style, even though I’m in shape, I just like a little more coverage.

lstewart232:  I go with the surf companies – they fit better for me personally (smaller top and tighter bottoms). RVCA, Volcom, Roxy, Billabong, etc.

The ones that are in right now are cheeky and/or less coverage bottoms and tops with fringe or some sort of cool detailing – like back straps or cut outs or something (at least that’s what popular in the Gulf Coast area). I’ve seen a few high waisted bottom options too.

You’ll see everything on the beach – from thongs (men and women) to full coverage skirted options. Go with what you feel comfortable 🙂

No one has mentioned Venus? theynate known for their swimwear and, while own nonr of of it, about 75% of my wardrobe is from their clothing line: everything is so flattering!

lstewart232:  Oh, hey, don’t sweat it.  You won’t be the only person vacationing there from beach-less states, so wear what you like.

Check out the flouncey tops too. And I have seen some high necked tops that are cute and may be more what you are looking for 🙂

Which area in FL?

Not much advice on brands, but I DO believe in pony-ing up the money and ordering a buttload online and trying them all on at home…in lighting I can control, perferably with a glass of wine 🙂

(I’m a G-cup, so I only order from specialty shops that can support my girls: Linda’s online, FigLeaves, and Malia Mills (which is $$$ but I LOVE my one suit from her!))
