So, long story short Fiance had to much to drink last weekend and my laptop was collateral damage (trying to get the cover off to clean it caused the screen to crack). I didn’t make an appointment at the Apple store because is was not expecting 10 million people to be there on a Sunday morning. So I dropped it off and they would look at it when they had time. Well, the needed repair was not worth spending on an old computer so I bought a new one and had them transfer the data, again “when they have the time”.
I still don’t have a computer and have been using Fiance tablet. I don’t want to use his computer because it is a gaming computer and super expensive. I am not working for at least two more weeks so I play around on the internet a lot, and his tablet keeps loosing internet connection.
What did people do before the internet??

Wait, I still do that…

@Aquaria: I read, a lot. I am also reading a lot of very exciting material for my jurisprudence test next week, which is why I enjoy going on the internet as a break from that. This thread was meant to be silly about how much we rely on technology these days. Hence the title “first world problems”.

go out… lol
I stay at home in the day and if I don’t make myself see the sun I’ll spend a whole day on the internet. Go for a walk, run, take yourself for coffee, start a craft prpject, clean/organize something, read… you can do it!

@pixiecat: I know it. My comment wasn’t meant to be snarky. Sorry if it came across that way.
