Definitely. For example, threads that say something along the lines of “Does my ring look too small for my finger?” and then you open the thread to see a 3 carat stone on a size 5 finger. REALLY?!

Just to join the thread; I think you’re right! Some bees do want to show off, but plenty are looking for reassurance.. like me! I still can’t decide on a wedding dress. Ugh @^^&$%^*#^@%.

I swear I wasn’t cursing 🙂

P.S. I love to go fishing and was honestly looking forward to a thread about fishing. .. I think I’ll start one now.

I feel this way all the time. There’s nothing wrong with needing a compliment every once in a while, but for some people it’s all they post.

Yes it drives me nuts… esp when bees come on here complaining about the same thing over and over again and never listen to advice… and then get mad when we try to give them advice.

It definitely does happen quite a bit on the Bee, though I (like several others) tend to think (or maybe at least hope) that for the most part girls are just genuinely looking for reassurance that they will look as amazing as they hope on their wedding day.  I also like to think that others just need a little help when making a big decision (ring, dress, etc.).  I don’t mind giving people compliments, though … If I think someone looks great, I’ll definitely tell them!  There are some threads, however, where I’m just like, “Seriously?”  Haha. 

Haha this cracks me up because it’s so true!  There are definitely some pretty bad offenders on my Facebook friends list.
