@skippydarling:  Haha, well I’m sure if you pay her for each time she has to do the same alterations, she won’t be mad at all!  Only if you expect her to keep redoing her work every time you lose weight for the same original price, then you might run into trouble.  But yeah, timewise it’ll be ok.

@skippydarling:  Go on YouTube and try out the BeFit in 90 days program.  It has weightlifting and cardio.  Each day includes around 30 minutes of working out so it’s pretty easy to slide into your daily routine.

P.S. It’s free!

i think you have a totally reasonable timeline! my siater was in the exact same boat as you, except that her seamstress measured her wrong and she HAD to lose weight just to fit in her dress.

by the exact same boat, i meant that her dress was 1500 miles away.

@skippydarling:  I do think your timeline is reasonable (hello fellow February bride!). Hopefully, you won’t need that many alterations at your last one. And as PPs have stated, I bet your seamstress isn’t all that busy in January (it’s possibly the low point of wedding season.) I would just let her know you’re losing weight, and how much more you expect to lose. Keep track of your progress so you can figure out how much to reasonable expect.

PS – I think January and February brides are masochists. This year, Thanksgiving and Christmas will suck. Which is precisely why I ate double the amount of food last year. Hey, girls gotta make up for missing it somehow 🙂

@skippydarling:  Clearly imitating a hunger-starved bride who hasn’t had a roll with butter on it in 6 months.

Changing your diet will give you 80% of your results. I lost 20 lbs by changing just my diet once… It was medically directed & called DASH.  It really made me see all the extras I had been eating.

@skippydarling:  I went on it (TMI) because I was having so many UTIs, it can also be used for high blood pressure. Basically it’s very low salt, very low acids and healthy eating. I didn’t have condiments for like 3 months 🙁 there is lots of stuff on the internet. I ate literlly a lot lf plain oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, tuna plain on wheat and bare chicken. It’s super boring, but works.
