You have to figure that the one you tried on, if it fit like a glove – someone may have stretched it out before you. If it was pinned back, they are going to be able to work that kind of magic with the seamstress. It will work out. Have faith. 🙂

You look fantastic! I’m currently preparing myself for this. I had a terrible experience getting measured after I said yes – it nearly ruined my experience. I was measured correctly at the first salon I went to (I’ve been in a LOT of weddings this year and my measurements have been the same) and the lady at the salon I purchased my dress from the following week measured my so loosely that the tape was drooping. She wrote down “my measurements” as 4-8 inches larger in each part and was adament I order a size 12 when my real measurements showed I should be an 8. The sample I tried on was a 6 and was just a smidge too tight. I’m expecting the dress to be huge on me when it comes in 🙁 I’m sure she will have it fitted beautifully by your wedding, but I definitely feel your pain and know how things like that can take the excitement away.

ETA: I didn’t see this was an old post until after I commented, but you look amazing! And thank you for sharing your experience, I thought I was the only one and have been pretty upset that it won’t look right even after alterations.
