I voted, “no new band” just because I am not a fan of wedding bands.  I think that erings look good on their own, but that’s just me!

Yours sounds lovely and could definitely stand on it’s own.  If you do want a band, I think a matching one with sapphires would look best.

Do you have any pictures?  Maybe you could do two smaller width bands on each side with the gemstones your want!

If you want a wedding band why don’t you consider a plain band that won’t take away from the e-ring?  I’d do that if you really want a wedding band.  I also voted for NO band, but thought of this afterwards.

@[email protected]:  See, that is so pretty, I would let it shine on it’s own.  Or, like I said- have another JUST like it.  I have seen vintage rings like that- two rows of 5 stones- soldered together and they look great.

    Gorgeous ring, by the way!

wow that’s a gorgeous ring!  not what I was picturing (for some reason I assumed princess cut stones) – I now vote no band!

I think a plain band would look nice, or wear the engagement ring on your right hand and the wedding band on your left.

I agree w/ MsYellowJacket and Diamond1031. I think either two thin eternity rings or a plain band would look best with your beautiful ring. Smile

I think a small plain band would be beautiful without taking away from your e-ring!

I voted before I saw the pictures… but, wow! Leave it on it’s own! It’s absolutely stunning.

Maybe you could get a cool right hand ring with sapphires in it?

i would get either the exact same band (in diamonds, not sapphires), or just a plain gold/platinum band with no stones.
