he has NO SAY in the registry! lol, he really doesnt care at all. Which is nice, so I add and delete daily! Especially now that I am in between showers…I took off all the stuff we really don’t “need” and kept it simple.

Personally, the only changes we’ve made is if something went out of stock or if the store stopped carrying the item.

I have wanted to SO MANY TIMES want to take off the PS3 that Fiance wants so bad. But I realized that I would be so pissed if he took off something I really wanted, like the Keurig coffee maker, or the steam vac I’m so excited about.

While we were registering at crate&barrel, Fiance thought it would be “fun” to register for a $5000 couch, $1000 dining table, matching chairs… He didn’t think that anyone would really buy that, but still insisted on doing it.

My bridal shower is approaching, and I deleted all these items without telling Fiance because I was just too embarassed about what people would think. I have since told him though ๐Ÿ™‚

Other than that, I have also added a few kitchen items. I got a little tired of trying to justify why we would need all these items at the store so just let it go. Apparently, since he made it through college with one pot and a pan, we can do the same now.

    Men… ๐Ÿ™‚

@Nasta: that’s so funny you say that about the furniture! Fiance fell in love with these couches at Macy’s that had recliners built in, and the recliners were automatic (like a car seat). He was in LOVE with them. They were also $3000 each. He scanned two into our registry.

    I’m like, Kim Kardashian much?

When we got home he said I could take them off because he realized it was silly ๐Ÿ™‚

@napabridekelsey  Men are just so funny ๐Ÿ™‚ At least he realized that he was being silly!

And then I get raised eyebrows when I register for a muffin pan…

There aren’t a lot of places for us to register here, so we set one up at the typical places: The Bay and Home Outfitters. There weren’t many things we NEEDED or even had storage space for, so we registered for about 15 things we I thought we could use, most being kitchen items. If Fiance had his way, we wouldn’t have registered for anything, but I was afraid people would buy us things we didn’t really want/need. I kept on going back to add things and delete things from the list, being wishy washy on what we would actually use. In the end, no one bought anything from our registry and 99% of our gifts was money.

I registered online by myself. He knows about the registries and I keep reminding him to add stuff but he never bothers. So I know I’ll love whatever we get. ๐Ÿ™‚

I registered for most of the stuff myself. He went when we picked out the china.

Fiance couldn’t care less about what’s on the registry. So I tweak and make changes all the time. He doesn’t mind at all.

I ended up adding a lot of stuff.  I really wasn’t happy with the HBC options and preferred BB&B but there’s not enough BB&Bs in Canada.  I added some things, and changed somethings.  I didn’t exactly do it behind DH’s back though.  He even came with me on an addition trip.  I did change the tea set from our china.  DH thought it was too expensive (I agreed) so I ended up just doing a basic white one.  He wanted the change, but didn’t bother to look at what I switched it to.
