That’s how I feel. And my back squishes up around the dress, too. And I don’t exercise. But with the wedding coming up… I want to not have my arms flapping in the wind during photos or giving me a black eye as I wave to people.
So what to do? I’m considering doing this 6 weeks hundred push ups challenege found on this website:
You can start at any level it seems. I’m definitely one of those people who can’t do any push ups right now. Best part, this is free.
The “why push ups?” page states the benefits as, “If you’re looking to develop a great chest and shoulders, you could do much worse than follow along with the hundred push ups plan. Your core strength will also go through the roof too!”
I can’t help but want that. Anyone else intersted?

I’m interested! Though, I bought myself a lace bolero/shrug to hide the squished back/arm fat just in case.

@mdbee23 pushups are great but also are doing some free weight work. even 2-3lb weights will work by doing some simple movements. also tricep dips are a great arm workout as well. mix these all together and you’ll have sexy arms & back in no time 😉 check pinterest for lots of suggestions..here’s one for you to get started!!
best of luck to you!!

This actually sounds pretty awesome. I am doing the insanity workout…or was anyway, but carving out an hour every day for working out is tough(and being sick for the last week hasn’t helped), but push ups are something I could definitely do and take way less time. Thank you for posting this.

@karenlinebarger: Thanks! I’m going to have to google those terms. I don’t even know what a tricep dip means! Or a shoulder press? Haha…. (I feel pathetic)

I may wear a lacey off shoulder overlay for the ceremony like this:
otherwise and also…I am also using a medicine ball behing my back and lifting over my head and back…this is with 8lbs.
