This is post is TOTALLY not what some of you will think it is. 🙂
I have a Euro shank wedding band (flat on the bottom) and I was looking for just a solid white gold wedding band to maybe wear with it. The problem is I haven’t been able to find just a euro shank wedding band.
I’m not sure if I even want to wear a wedding band with it. I love my ring so much I hate to pay money for a band and then decide I don’t want to wear it. Does anyone know where I could start looking or if I should even add a band? Thanks!

Wow you are right! Those are hard to find! (just tried searching:) Btw, I love what you named this post — haha!! Well, are you super concerned with having a matchy-matchy set? Because I think that a rounded/non-euro shank band would be just fine. Generally, people choose the euro shank to help prevent spinning (as e-rings can be top-heavy), so I don’t think it would make much sense to make a plain band have a shank designed to prevent that, KWIM? Maybe unless you wanted like a half-eternity or otherwise pave band. But there are other spinning fixes out there that you can add to it. For a plain metal band though, I say you just shop around for a round band. I’ve heard good things about e-weddingbands.com. Good luck!

Could you post a picture for us? I’d love to see what your ring looks like!

Oh I just like the euro shank because I have stubby, small fingers and when I close them the eurp shank doesn’t dig into my hand like a normal ring does. It is WAY more comfortable than any other ring I have worn, so it isn’t really about the turning issue. I just called my jeweler and to get a band made would be $900! WHAT?!
I did post pictures of my ring on this other topic because I am debating:
Engagement Ring is Wedding Ring?

I don’t know anything about this site, but it popped up during my google search – looks like they have lots to choose from.

I have a euro shank ring too! I just learned this!!! I’ve had my ring for 7 months and I had no idea that the band being flat on the bottom had a name! LOL A lot of people have asked me about it because it is so different and you don’t see it often! Apparantly the lady at the jewler told us it was called a euro shank when we first looked at it! Wonder why I don’t remember…maybe because I was too busy falling in love with my ring:)
