I’ve had a GHD Classic 1″ for almost 10 years that I absolutely love! Highly recommend!! I have thin hair but a ton of it, and my stylists always ask if I use heat on my hair, because it’s always in great shape when I go.

My DH got me the Dyson Corrale and TBH, I don’t notice any difference…and it’s hella heavy!

Within your price range, I’ve always loved CHI flat irons. I also like that they come in fun colors/patterns. smile

I’m a diehard GHD fan. My first one lasted 9 years. My current one is 2 years old.

eta: my hair is a mix of curls, waves, and poker straight. I do have to round brush blow it out before I flat iron it if I want it to be sleek straight. Ive never had an issue with it being one temp.

@pinkshoes:  They do only have 1 temp, but my roommate with very thick dark black hair uses it and it works for her too! If it helps, my mom’s hairdresser recommended this one when my mom was looking for my xmas gift.

I’ve had my same $99 CHI for a decade. No complaints. Love it.

I’ve also had my CHI for over 10 years at this point and it still works great

Ditto others. I’m on my second CHI in 15ish years.

Yea I love my CHI, affordable and durable: I’ve had mine a long time and it still works great! Plus mine came with a mini CHI hair straightener so I take that one with me when I travel somewhere for touch ups, super convenient.
