So as it turns out, the converse bride may not be wearing converse (at least not to the ceremony, anyways.) I have been lusting over these:
I love them as my something blue! Do you think I can rock these with my dress?

Those are so cute! I plan on wearing flats. I’m already taller than my Alex, plus I can barely keep balance barefoot. So heels are definitely out for me.

I think they are too casual and bohemian for your formal and structured dress. I do like them, though! Maybe you could wear them with a cute dress for the rehearsal dinner?
I wore flate to my wedding, but they were pointed, closed-toe flats in a bright pop of color (mine were blue 🙂 ). Much easier to dress up a shoe like that!

I’ll be honest, I voted no because I think they just don’t go right with the style of dress. The dress is awesome, the shoes are awesome, but together not so much… lol that’s just my opinion though! If you love them, then by golly wear them!!!

I think that they are cute, but personally I think they are a bit too casual and don’t go as well as something else might. However, I’m planning to wear flats (or at the very least, briefly wear shorter heels than flats. I have arthritis and my heel wearing days are probably over). I like the idea of wearing matching Chucks with my partner, so we’re looking into getting custom ones.
