Does it matter what material? If chiffon is fine, I have a suggestion. If not, well, I don’t. Lol.

My girls have a long chiffon one from AA and it’s super flattering on all my girls – sizes range from a 00 to 16/18. I was going to let them all pick whichever, but they all ended up liking the exact same one.

Hmm…gosh, that’s a tough one. I would also say someting chiffon/empire waisty.  In case this helps (although I’m not sure it will – a knee length slight a line satin dress), my girls were in style #7122 – here’s my bridesmaid in a size 12: she had the same concerns and I thought she looked great!

My BMs got style 7172. (We got long, but tried on the short too) and seriously they ALL looked good. PP posted a link (the pinky color dress above). It’s really flattering on anyone, so I think she would like it. Plus, it’s easy to re-use. The straps can change or be taken off, etc.

@eyork: Your Bridesmaid or Best Man could also buy a long gown and have it hemmed to knee length. My BMs wore AA #7027 and the rouching across the mid-section was very flattering.

I would suggest something with an empire waist. I think they are much more forgiving in the midsection, so it would work well if she loses some baby weight or doesn’t between now and your wedding.

@AmeliaBedelia: My bridesmaids did the same thing! I gave them the choice to pick individual dresses but they all liked that one
