Photos taken from above, fingers curved down slightly…honestly I’m not overly sure I just take lots of pictures and see which ones I like. πŸ™‚

Have the camera angle as horizontal to the lower arm/wrist/hand as much as possible, to elongate the fingers.  Ie. rest your lower arm on a table, put the camera about 10-15 cm above the elbow pointing towards the ring.  Never take an overhead shot unless you curve your fingers to elongate them.  I also have stubby fingers and have the same issue.

I don’t have much advice on angles but take pictures when your hands are cold! I’ve noticed that my fingers look best when it’s cold because they “shrink”…my fingers swell and look awful even when slightly hot (or while drinking!). Also, is your ring the correct size? Even if it’s slightly too small it can give the dreaded finger muffin top (this happends when my fingers swell and I hate it)
