Pina Colada is DELISH! And will be a little out of the box from some.

I chose red velvet, Italian cream and white wedding cake for my own.

oilfieldhoney:  I don’t have a favorite flavor since I like all cake! 😉  The choices you listed sound really good too.  Since you already have a chocolate type flavor with the red velvet and a Fall type flavor with the carrot, I think the white, yellow, butter, or white chocolate raspberry will offer a good variety for your guests.

oilfieldhoney:  I love sweet almond cake with raspberry filling! I also really love dark chocolate cake with hazlenut filling.

I love almost all cake, though 😉

oilfieldhoney:  So many flavours to choose from and they all sound good. I can see why the choice is tough!

Our wedding cake will consist of Chocolate, Marble (I can’t remember why we didn’t choose vanilla) and Red Velvet. We tried a bunch of flavours out and these were the ones we liked the best!

My absolute fave cake is carrot cake with cream cheese icing though so I am absolutely biased regarding that choice!

Have to agree with some of the other bees. I love italian cream and i love the combo of red velvet cheesecake, so that could be something to consider.

Our first and second tiers were banana cake with dark chocolate ganache and cream cheese frosting for the fillings. The second tier was chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and milk chocolate ganache.
