So knowing my feet, I will need out of my lovely Badgley Mischkas by the reception. I need shoes the same heght (3 -3.5 inches). I want to still be able to dance and not fall over so I’m worried about just flip flops, but honestly have never worn wedges and don’t know if they’ll be more comfortable than the shoes I’m changing out of?
Flip-flops or wedges?

Wedges. Flip flops are for the beach.

I wore wedge flip flops from Aldo. You couldn’t see them anyway and they were way more comfortable than my shoes.

wedges are miles more comfortable than heels- your body weight is supported over your entire foot, rather than a small spot on the back and a small spot on the front.
This is especially true if you get platform wedges, because you would need less of an incline.

Wedges. If your dress length is tailored to the 3.5-in heels, be sure that your wedges are the same height.
