I love the idea of the floating flower vase centerpieces!!! I feel as if I have looked at lots of pictures of them, but how tall should the vases be???
Has anyone have any recommendations?

We had floating flower centerpieces in low glass bowls. They were maybe 2 inches high, and 12 inches in diameter, with one big flower floating in each bowl. That’s one way to do it.

I think it depends on how high you want your centerpieces and what else you have going on. Do you ahve specific colors in mind? What about a submerged flower? That’s a nice look too.

Yes, we were thinking having submerged flowers with the floating candle on top. Our color is purple.
It’s hard to tell how how some of vases are by looking at pictures 🙂

We got 9″ vases from Dollar Tree which will hold a 3″ floating candle. The side vases are 6 1/2″ tall, also from Dollar Tree, and will hold 1.75″ floating candles.

@Mrs.Oat: Where did you get your candles from?

I think using numerous sizes on each table would look great! Though it would depend on the type of flower you are using if you are thinkng of using tube like vases. I also really like when the flowers and green strands wrap around the inside of a bowl shaped vase and have a floating candle on top
