My Fiance and I are building our budget for the wedding, and I’m wondering what a reasonable estimate for flowers would be…
We’re thinking somewhat minimalist on the flowers – 2 bouquets (bride + Maid/Matron of Honor, I won’t be having BMs), 2 boutonnieres, approx. 10 centerpieces, and a few flowers around the wedding arch. I’m envisioning white/pink roses for the bouquets and most of the arrangements, like this:
Do you think $2,000 is a reasonable estimate for everything I’ve outlined above? Or should I revise our budget upwards?

I think it somewhat depends on where you are located. I’m in Georgia, and here your budget would be plenty for all the things you want. I think you would even come in closer to $1000. Does your florist “rent” the vases to you or do you have to buy your own? That could change the price a little. I definitely think you are right on track with that budget, but just check with your florist and get a true estimate.

Yes I think it’s very easy to do that within that budget. But it really depends on the centerpieces you want. I think the bouquets would average $200 and $75, bouts $10-$15. Centerpieces can go anywhere from $25-$50 on up depending on what you want. If it is those smaller ones pictured I highly doubt it would cost more than $50-75. And then for the arch I guess it depends on how many flowers you want.
Depends on your area too. I’d say you could do that for around $1000-$1200 around here.
I think $2000 is plenty to work with and you could probably get it well under that.

It depends where you are going. If you DIY your flowers, this will be extremely cheap! I am DIYing my flowers from BloomsByTheBox.com. It definitely can be do-able. But if you are planning a florist I think that is pretty reasonable.

Thanks, ladies! I’m glad to know that my vision is do-able under $2k!! I would consider DIY-ing, but my wedding venue is 3.5 hours from where we live, so transport might be an issue…

I was really surprised by how many floral arrangements we’re getting for the amount of money we’re spending on flowers, and we’re working with a New York florist. I think you’ll come in under $2K if that’s all you’re getting.
