Well, if you are planning to spend 1k, then you can get some inspiration photos and tell your florist to work within your budget. Just know that you probably would not be getting the more expensive flowers like orchids and callas all over the place but you can still work something out. Floral budgets range all over the place. I’ve seen $500 and I’ve seen $5000!

Do you have any thoughts on what colors or types of flowers you want to use?  If you take in ideas to your florist, they should be able to work within your budget ($1000 is a nice chunck of money to spend on flowers, btw!).  Prices are different in different parts of the country and buying flowers that are in season for your area will keep the cost down.

If you’re nervous about changing your mind in the shop, do some research at home and find pictures of arrangements that you LOVE.  They’ll be able to make mock bouquets that resemble what you’re looking for.  They’ll also work off of your ideas and get the feel of what you like and want most.

Some florists have minimums, which usually start at around $1,000. Based on budgets and breakdown, you can expect to spend about 8-10% of your overall budget on flowers.
