It’s time for me to start collecting proposals on floral budgets and I am just so overwhelmed! Who knew flowers cost so much!
Would anyone recommend their florist?
Also could you let me know if your cost included any other decor items like candles, vases, etc? If you are in a metro area, similar to Atlanta, please chime in.

What kind of look are you going for? What’s your budget? What are you looking to get (centerpieces, chuppah, aisle flowers, etc)I’m in Atlanta and spent months (and a lot of $$ doing mockups) so I think I’m pretty familiar with every big name florist in the metro area, might be able to make a recommendation.

I have bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids, 4 groomsmen and 2 sets of parents. We are only having about 100 guests, and a head table so 10, 11 tables. So I would want like 6 tall centerpieces that would be used in the ceremony and then used in the reception and then like 4,5 shorter round centerpieces for the other tables.
I would also like candles and such, but I don’t know how much they cost and how they are added in the total budget.
I’m budgeting 2500. Am I way off?

I worked with Eva at Tulip (http://bytulip.com/) and she did a beautiful job. The cost depends a lot on what you are looking for. We spent around 4k on the flowers/decor and that included 20 centerpieces, my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, 5 FH/GM bouts, bouts/corsages for our parents and readers, ceremony decor including an arch, and assorted arrangements for the reception.
Eva was willing to work within the budget we gave her and she did a great job.
ETA: Our contract included candles, vases, candlesticks, etc. She basically provided the whole package for our centerpieces.

@romanticbride42: I think your budget is pretty good. Have you spoken to the girls at Tulip? I think they can work with your budget.

@cheebs: Thanks for the suggestion! And for the rundown of what you were able to get. That defintely helps to put what I want in perspective.
@atlbride2013: I am just now putting out inquiries today. I first wanted to know if my budget was too far off. Thanks. Did you go with Tulip, as well?
