@juliebean816:  I did white flowers, with green fillers, because the teal/blue color that I used for my wedding doesn’t really appear in flowers. I don’t know if peonies will still be in season in August, but I think they’re gorgeous.

I think yellow and coral are a great complement to your colors. One or the other obviously meant there. I am not advocating for either option here, but I think you can definitely consider having those colors if you want. Are you doing flowers yourself or going with a florist? You could bring a swatch with your colors to your florist and see how different ideas work with them. Ideally, your florist will be able to steer you in the right direction based on what you’re saying and what you are showing.

My BM’s are wearing teal as well and carrying pink and purple flowers. I don’t think it would be a problem to bring another color into the mix of things like you suggested. Also, your florist should still be able to get the flowers you want even if they’re out of season. . . it will just cost a little more. I’m getting married in June and using tulips (in season) and calla lily’s (out of season). I had no idea what I wanted either at first, but I went to a florist and they were able to help steer me in the right direction and give me ideas I never thought of.
