The drive between Daytona and Orlando is maybe an hour? I’m sure you can get a taxi or find some sort of car service between the two airports. Worse case scenario, you can rent a car. It’s a straight shot from daytona to orlando. You’ll spend way less than 1500, so it’d totally be worth it even if you rented a car!

I did a quick search and found these: http://doshuttle.com/ and http://dots-daytonabeach.com/.

I can’t speak to the experience with either, but searching trip advisor or some other rating site would help. Since there are services you aren’t the only one! Good luck!!

@Nicoso:  De-lurking just to reply! I grew up in daytona and it’s a quick, easy drive between there and orlando – budget about 1.5 hrs each way. It’d be handy if you rented a car – then you’d have transportation in daytona so that you could go see the beach, go to a restaurant, etc.

Dots is also a fine shuttle company – my dad has used them a time or two when my mom couldn’t drive him to the airport in orlando (haha, or when she didn’t want to wake up at 5am to drive him there in time for an early flight!). He said it was an easy, comfortable trip.

Another option – check out the prices from Jacksonville airport. Sometimes they’re about the same price as Orlando, but the drive is slightly shorter and the airport is a little smaller & quicker to navigate. Rental cars might also be cheaper from JAX than from Orlando, too.

Definitely just drive it! I live in orlando, DB is an hour and a half or so (including traffic)…if you fly in during the day (after 10 and before 4) the drive will be easier….9am and 5pm traffic BLOWS. It’s worth the $50 to rent a car to save that much money!!

The South doesn’t have mass transit like in most Canadian cities, so there’s no (reliable) way to do it without a rental car. But, I bet a rental car is only like $30/day!

Drive with a cheaper rental car.  Pick it up in Daytona and drop it off at the Orlando airport.  That’s what I’d do
