Sorry that happened that is crazy stress that didn’t need to be added to your wedding day i am sure. I would try costco. I think they only require a week maybe two notice to order flowers. We just ordered ours last weekend and our wedding would have been 3 weeks away than. We ordered 250 rose stems and bought our vases at the dollar store. A total of about 275 for our centerpieces.

We are using Springdale Florist in Stamford, CT.  Can’t guarantee they’ll be able to do it, but Tom is a wonderful person to work with.  Let me know if you need contact information.  I am so so so sorry that this is happening 🙁

Take a deep breath!

I know this feels like a big crisis (and in the wedding-world it is!) but try to look at things in perspective. You are getting married no matter what, with or without flowers. Take a look at what you ordered and see if you can scale back. Do you really need/want to spend $2,500 on flowers that are going to die within a week after your wedding?

We’re doing non-floral centrepieces, and having a grocery store do the bouquets, corsages and boutineres. Total cost $300.

The church/ceremony venue is probably beautiful as is, so keep it simple.

Best of luck!

in case you are still looking — flowers by richard (in hell’s kitchen) and starbright florist (in the flower district) are both very budget friendly.  If they have availability, i’m sure they can work within your budget (very reasonable in nyc).

So glad you found someone! Make sure you write tons of reviews on your previous florist *after* you sue him (yelp, wedding wire, google, BBB, etc).

Your lucky he didnt do your flowers. On saturday I walked in to his shop with my fiance and walked right back out. They were getting ready for a wedding, they were scrambling around, the flowers they were loading in the truck were dead. It was a disgrace. When we sat down to speak to him about our wedding he never asked me how many bridesmaids I have, How many people etc. He asked me how many centerpieces I needed. I then asked him wasnt that his job to tell me.. He then started mentioning names of people he did weddings for… Well So and SO paid $8,500 for his flowers and another paid $18,000 but you will be less. The guy was nuts. I very politley told him we werent interested and me and my fiance had the laugh of our lives walking back to our car. We ended up with Flowers by Brian and they are amazing. THings happen for a reason… be greatful someone else did your flowers for you….especially after what I saw Saturday.

Flowers by Brian I’ve seen their work at a wedding I attended. I’d say yes they looked beautiful.
