honeybee1999 :  To be honest, we didn’t get that much flowers for the price we paid.  We used an award winning designer who’s very well known in our area which brought up the price considerably.  But I knew from the start, I wanted her to do our flowers  smile

I’m in Ca I’m getting married in april. The time of year and what flowers really can affect the costs. I was thinking I would end up with lots of greenery maybe white flowers but they told me the time of year it wouldn’t make it cheaper I could get away with doing a lot more. My bouquet is $255 and are high centerpieces are $265 and are low centerpieces are $175

zzar45 :  we did 3 bouquets and 2 bouts from Hobby Lobby (fake flowers) and then 20 centerpieces in mason jars with roses and greenery from Costco and it ended up being about $400.

In Toronto. Decor and florals were grouped together. I spent about 9K?

zzar45 :  I am in Canada and was quoted between $2K and $3K for flowers. I’ve decided to cut that cost by ordering my flowers from Costco and doing them myself in the days leading up to the wedding. A bit more of a hassle, but I decided to go with really hardy flowers that do not require loads of water and maintenence so they will (hopefully) still look fresh and perfect a few days later!

All in all from Costo, to order all the flowers alone for Ceremony, centerpieces & head table will be around $700!

Edit: to say the costco number includes bouquets for myself, all bridesmaids, corsages for mums and grandmas and boutonnieres for all the groomsmen and dads! Whereas the florist price only included bouquets and boutonnieres!

We are using a newer florist which cut down on our costs in the resort area we’re getting married in. I’ll be paying about $3500 for:

1 bridal bouquet

5 bridesmaid bouquets

ceremony arch

cake/dessert table display

about 25 centerpieces including our head table

We opted out of boutonnieres and corsages.

honeybee1999 :  Thank you <3

Oh the tablecloths!  They were a hassle since they were lace overlays so we had to get matching linens to go underneath them as well.  But the detail was so beautiful..

I’m from Texas! We’re spending about $4k for a floral arch, greenery covering railing on the boat we will be married on, a wreath for the altar area, bride’s bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 4 corsages, 10 boutanniers, 18 8 ft tables of laid greenery and florals in them, 18 centerpieces with minimal flowers, a flower crown for the flower girl, flowers to go on the cake and some other various pieces for other tables. Sorry this was a long winded list!!!

Our floral costs came to $8100. This included my beautiful bouquet, 5 bridesmaid bouquets, 10 boutonnières, church decor (on pews and two large pieces at the entrance to the church), 6 small cocktail table arrangements, one large floral installation for the escort card table, and 20 table centerpieces. We had three different designs of centerpieces. Two were very flower-heavy, and the other was more like an art installation with flowers accenting it. This also included all rentals and tons of candles, and set and strike and moving the church decor over to the reception venue.

We are extremely happy with how our flowers came out, and have never seen anything similar to what they designed for us.

We are in Chicago.

It also depends on what flowers you want. My flowers were about 2k and they were mostly baby’s breath for my table arrangements and then had flowers for me and my bridesmaids bouquets, the men’s stuff, corsages for our grandparents and parents and the flower girl stuff. It wasn’t too bad but our initial quote was 1k.
