We did half the flowers ourselves. We bought them from Sam’s Club and then some from the grocery store. It’s definitely way cheaper to DIY, but it’s also a lot of work. If you are going to DIY, stick with simple arrangements or you’ll be tearing your hear out. You need to have a lot of help and very good planning/coordinating. It’s best to arrange the flowers the day before, so if you have a lot planned that day, it will be hard. You’ll need to prep the flowers 1-2 days prior, and then you would need a place to store them. You should also factor in transport, set up, and breakdown. Will you have someone to do that for you?

Have you met with Erin Volante Floral? She was recommended by my venue. I ended up going with someone else – I thought their style matched mine better – but Erin was great and her prices were more affordable. Good luck!
