Any brides out there with allergies to flowers? Did you guys have real flower bouquets and centerpieces? Did it make your allergies flare up? I know Fi, myself, my Maid/Matron of Honor, my dad all have allergies.. and I’m sure somewhere among the guests they will have allergies too, so I’m not sure if cut flowers will make allergies flare up.

I have pretty bad allergies, but for some reason- to me, it is really important to have real flowers. We have fake for the centerpieces though. I talked to the florist, and she’s using flowers that have less pollen for my bouquet (roses mostly). I’ll also be careful not to touch them much, or stick my nose in it or something like that. In reality, I’ll only be holding it/close to it for walking up and down the aisle and for some pictures.

if you are worried, don’t do flowers. no big deal. you don’t need them. i did not do flower centerpieces. but i did do flower bouquetes for bride and BMs. the flower girls carried wands .
