I’m looking at around 2k for my flowers (with tax and delivery/set up) but my highest quote was 4k with the same requests. I think a lot of the price spread can be attributed to the “status” of the shops. The most expensive quote came from a very well established shop that has gorgeous work and a lot of experience plus a bigger staff. My florist is still at least a couple hundred cheaper than the middle quote because she’s just starting her independent business and she’s not charging me for all the rentals. I have some expensive flowers (peonies and orchids) but I’m using less since I’m incorporating origami cranes into the centerpieces which helped reduce the cost. For this price I’m getting (roughly since I don’t have the quote in front of me):
My bouquet + toss, 5 bridesmaids, pomander w/ toss petals for flowergirl, 8 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, 4 pew arrangements, guest book table arrangement, buffet arrangement, 6 manzanita centerpieces, 6 low centerpieces w/ orchids, a couple cocktail table arrangements with candles and orchids (4 maybe?). We’re using the bouquets to decorate the sweetheart table and cake table so she’s also bringing vases for that.
I don’t like baby’s breath or most roses but I was flexible on the other flowers used beyond the peonies/orchids. It definitely helped with the price to use only a few of the expensive flowers and fill the rest in with in-season flowers. My florist showed me tons of pictures of different types of flowers in the colors I wanted so we were able to build everything based around what I liked vs. what my budget was. Since you said you’re flexible with the flower types a good florist can direct you to the right choices.
