After much thought, I finally decided on the ring I would upgrade to. I originally had a 1/5 ct (tw) e-ring, princess cut with smaller diamonds surrounding the center stone. It looked antique, but I wanted more sparkle and a larger stone. Just weeks ago I ordered a moissanite solitaire (a Tiffany replica) and it was beautiful. However, the moissanite was not enhanced and I paid a pretty penny for it too. And I didn’t like the rainbow. I guess in the end I truly had my heart set on a diamond. I think the moissanite stone is gorgeous, and there are several ladies on the Bee that have the most beautiful rings.
I think in the end, I’m more a vintage girl. That was the theme of my wedding. There’s something about the detail that makes me crazy! In a good way. So I searched for my perfect ring. The one! And I finally found it.
It’s 1 ct and comes from the Helzberg Symphonies Mozart collection. It’s considered a cluster ring I suppose. I have never really been a fan of cluster rings, personally. But I do love flower shaped clusters. Oh my! I checked out some of the boards to see other clusters/flower clusters. It was then tha I knew exactly what I was looking for. I also wanted to be sure that the ring went well with my original wedding band, a diamond miligrain 2mm band. Also very detailed. The top and both sides of the ring have diamonds and have small designs.
These two rings look like they were made for each other, in my opinion. I’m so happy that I finally found her. No more ring shopping for me.
Happy Tuesday, Bees!
