I spent around $100 for silk flowers @ Joann Fabrics.  DIY bouquets and boutonnieres.

I am spending 600 on enough stems for 6 bouquets, 6 boutenieres (for women – then mens were DIY). Roses for petals for the four flower girls and centerpieces for 25 tables. No Joke.

I originally told them I wanted 10 $30 dollar bouquets and I would disassemble and recreate my own as needed…she said ‘ well why didnt you say DIY sooner’ and then offered me crazy low prices for just stems. Instead of $170 bridal bouquet and $70 a piece for 5 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets – I am paying for ALL the flowers for the same price.

    Im super pumped!

I think flowers can be very cheap or very expensive, depending on how many you want.  I spent $3300.  My florist told me that 2K was pretty average.   A friend of mine got all hers for around $1200.

I live in MA and I’m spending a little less than $5K on flowers. That includes:

20 table centerpieces (we invited 250 people, so not sure how many tables we will end up needing, but this number can be changed) which came out to around $3K

    my bridal bouquet @ $250 or $275 I can’t remember.

    6 Bridesmaids bouquets @ $85 each

    Groom’s boutonniere @ $25

    6 Groomsmen @$14 each

    Dad’s/mom’s/grandma’s/grandpa’s is around $100 total

    Ceremony decorations @ about $1200

My flowers were $140.67 (I just looked at my flower order LOL).  I didn’t get center peices or anything though.  This was my order:

1 bridal bouquet ($75!!! Most expensive part)

    1 bridesmaid bouquet

1 mother of bride coursage/1 grooms mother coursage

    1 groom coursage

    1 groomsman coursage

    1 father of bride coursage

Everything turned out great!  I loved our flowers.

@AlmostHisWife:  I live in Costa Rica, so maybe my info is totally useless lol… but here goes.

$60 for a bouquet (a dozen pink & white roses), a white rose bout for hubby, a white rose bout for Mother-In-Law, a white rose corsage for mommy, and white & pink petals for the 2 flower girls.
