I’m not planning on wearing a flower crown. However, I think that silk flowers would be better! Just because you’ll be jumping around and real flowers will wilt, I think that silk flowers will look nicer longer. Welcome to the Bee btw 😀

I’ll be purchasing a silk flower crown for my flower girl. I think you could do either way. If I was doing it for myself as the bride I would atleast do realtouch silks.

I would talk to a florist. I want flowers in my hair for the wedding (not a crown) but she was able to tell me what flowers would last and what flowers wouldn’t hold up at all, as well as what flowers might dye my hair (very blonde hair). It was very helpful, she was able to show me flowers. See if you even like the ones in season or that will work before you make the decision.

Another option is dried flowers. That’s what I plan to use.

I got mine from etsy, and so they’re not real.  This is the one I bought. When it arrived, the vines moved easily, so I’ll be wearing mine slightly differently to the one in this sellers pic –

I got my real crown from Bohemian Bouquets on Etsy. She makes it and sends its overnight so it arrives fresh to you for the wedding. Mine was shipped on a Thursday, arrived Friday, and I wore it on Saturday and it looked great. She also does centerpieces and bouquets.

I highly recommend them. Gina was amazing to work with. You can see her work on Instagram #bohemian_bouquets

The bout in the picture was also by her (albeit sideways). Both the crown and bout contained hops (we had custom beer bar with craft beer) and succulents.

Mine was different because it was a part of the ceremony, but it was silk and very petite and lovely.
