Does anyone have any suggestions for flowers for a winter wedding? I’m getting married in December and I’m really struggling with what type of flowers for centerpieces and/or bouquets would be ideal for the season (btw my color scheme is cornflower blue, silver and white). I’m contemplating bypassing a bouquet all together and carrying white fur muff, but not sure how my traditional guests would react.

I think that you cant go wrong with some lovely garden roses (they are soooo gorgeous) blue hydrangea, blue anemones, chrysanthemums, white amaryllis (which is a winter flower) or for something different you can use dogwood and pussy willow stems, hypernicum berries, and holly or ivy. I feel, since you have such a magical season to work with, you could do something unique like get curly willow branches and spray paint them sliver or white and drape them with string lights and candles, or perhaps crystals. You could DIY and it would look stunning! (or you could buy fake white led lighted branches if you dont have the time).

Here is my bouquet, I just posted a ton of pictures under this thread :
All of my DIY flowers are done!!! 🙂 What do you think? (pic heavy)
Those are all of my flowers for my winter wedding. Our colors are ivory, black, and gold.
I used artificials due to price and my allergies lol but hopefully you can maybe get an idea? I was having the same problem for mine.

@Annabelle86: I thought about using Blue Hydrangeas but I was afraid it was too springy of a flower to use in a winter wedding.

You could always do an all-white bouquet and then a brooch with faux sapphires or aquamarines on it…
