Not an answer to your question, but a thought: the flower girl doesn’t need to “do” anything, it is perfectly ok if she just walks down the aisle like a bridesmaid.

@lovelylight99:  The 2 times I was a flowergirl I didn’t toss petals. They simply gave me a basket of flowers to carry down the aisle instead of a bouquet like the bridesmaids. And I think WeddingChicks has a downloadable “Here comes the bride” sign that you could easily attach to a stick for her to carry. I don’t know of anywhere you could buy one though.

@lovelylight99:  I got mine on ebay as I didn’t want to spend a lot and I find the ones on eBay to be cheaper (not all but some). It was VERY light and perfect for my 4.5 month old niece.

I was planning on selling mine if you are interested.  It is similar to the one Mrsbruff2b  posted.  It was so cute!  If I had my pics I’d show you!

I purchased this one  http://www.etsy.com/listing/109561230/here-comes-the-bride-signwedding?  On the back it will say “And they lived happily ever after” which I’ll display in our house one day. I’m having my flower girls (2) do the traditional petals and my ring bearers carry this. Also I thought we could hold the happily ever after side for our thank you card picture.  Hope this helps. They will custom the colors and ribbon for you. They were very accommodating.

@lovelylight  I guess $10 plus shipping.  It has “here comes the bride” on the front and “We did it” on the back.  I paid $25 for it.

@lovelylight99:

My Aunt is actually making a replica of a sign we saw on Etsy. The paint is laquered on somehow that makes it look antique and weatherworn, and I think she said she was able to find the technique to do this online. I was originally thinking of buying from Etsy as well, as I’ve bought many different parts of my wedding from there, but it turns out to be a LOT cheaper if you can make it yourself. We just took a wooden door plaque that’s only the size of a dinner plate, and she painted it to look exactly like the one I would have bought. What cost her $25 for the total of the paint, wood, and twine she will use for my Flower Girl to hold, would have cost me $55 on Etsy. A definite must if you have someone crafty in your family!
