- Wedding: September 2011
I saw some books online that were children’s books that explain what it is to be a flower girl and ring bearer and think that is a really great gift idea for my FI’s neice and nephew. She is 5 and he is 2 and we are asking them to be a part of our wedding this week.
Before I order anything online I wanted to see if anyone had bought any of these books and had a good look at them. I want to make sure that the books I buy don’t focus a lot on a religious church ceremony. We are getting married outside with a friend performing the ceremony and I want to make sure the books don’t confuse things for the kids (they are being raised in a religious household) since we aren’t going to be in a church. I might be worried about something that doesn’t matter, but I don’t want to create a situation. Does that make sense?
I know there are multiple picture books available on Amazon for both Ring Bearers and Flower Girls and was curious if anyone had purchased them and what they thought of the individual books. I will have them sent to me first and take a look at them regardless, but just wanted to get some input from the hive. My future niece already loves books and her brother is a little young to really get what’s going on, but I thought this would be a fun way to help them feel special and loved.
