What about having her wave a ribbon wand?  You would make one with alot of ribbons.  I have also seen them pull a wagon with decorations in it, or ride a trike down the aisle.

When I am doing flowers for a wedding at a church that can’t have petals, I usually just do a small arrangement in a flowergirl basket or make a tiny bouquet for the flowergirl. The ribbon wand is also a good idea! Flower wants (made with silks) are also super popular right now. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’d do a wand or small floral too. Lots of times in their excitement they forget to throw them anyway!

The wand is a very cute idea!  Have them carry a basket still or a pomander is cute too.  Just smile and look cute.  Great job to have!

Mine can’t either! We’re giving her an unwrapped bouquet, and she’s going to hand a flower to random people sitting along the aisle. ๐Ÿ˜€

I think I might make an extra bouquet so she can take one home, though.  Not really sure if that matters to her/them. (We have one “yes” and one “maybe”.)

We couldn’t either, my flower girl carried a pomander, it had the same flowers of the bridesmaids bouquets and she loved it!

We had a “ring princess” instead of a flower girl; she carried a starfish wand with the rings tied to the ribbons. I thought she might be disappointed when we told her no petals, but she was absolutely thrilled to be a “princess”! LOL

This was on the beach, so very appropriate – I’ve also seen some beautiful flower wands…

Here’s what our “ring princess” carried:

Here’s a flower girl wand from etsy.com – these are artificial flowers, but I’ve also seen them made with fresh flowers:

Bubbles?

My aunt’s flower girl threw sparkles–of course there was a cleaning fee for that.

Mine handed out long stemmed roses to people.  ๐Ÿ™‚

It worked out really well and she was thrilled to be doing something different then she did at the last wedding she was flower girl in.  ๐Ÿ™‚

Can she blow Bubbles down the Aisle? or even just blow kisses to people? I have been trying to deicde wether to have a “ring princess” and a flower girl, I still haven’t decided yet, but I have two girls and no boys so they may may not have different jobs.

@dodgercpkl:Awesome! I’ve never seen anyone do this, but this *exactly* what I want mine to do. Thanks so much for sharing it!
