@DreamInColor:  I bought mine off of Etsy. They are being customed made to fit the girls so I won’t get them until September/October. The girls are 2 and 3 and tend to grow like weeds, lol.

Today was my niece’s first birthday and one of her aunts gave her a tulle dress she’d made. We’ve decided that if she still fits in it come time, it’s gonna be her flower girl dress. If not, we’ll make her a new one that does fit. We love it that much.

She’ll wear different clothes under it. Probably just a plain pink top or onesie. I just think it’s so perfect. And then, since we’re getting married on Halloween (costume reception) she has some matching fairy wings already too.

We got ours on Ebay for $16.00.  For another persons wedding I found a Flower Girl dress online at Target for $12.00 in yellow with pink flowers (the wedding colors) it was clearance after Easter and I think I got it mid summer.

I can relate. I want one to look somewhat similar to my dress…I just think that’s cute.  So far the only one I really like is this one by Alfred Angelo..but I haven’t seen it in person.  It says that the top part has beading & sparkles and stuff on it & it looks like a tulle ball gown, so I’m hoping it’s pretty in person. My dress is a tulle ball gown with swarovski crystals on the bodice. Oh and I would have the sash in light pink because that is my accent color.

I ordered mine for my niece online from Nordstrom.  I had found the bridesmaids dresses I wanted and stumbled across the flowergirl dress that work perfectly with them and my dress.  I think I ordered it about 10 months before the wedding and just guessed on size.  It obviously didn’t take 10 months to get made/shipped but I didn’t want to risk not being able to get it if I waited until closer to the wedding to order.

I originally found mine in a store while visiting my parents in another state. The designer is Emerald Bridal.

My SIL (my flower girl’s mother and also one of my bridesmaids) and I loved it.  Unfortnately, when the dress arrived at her home, it was white, when we had ordered ivory.

The company did not have time to correct the mistake by making a new dress. However, they offered us a DIFFERENT style of dress that was more expensive for the price my SIL had paid for the first dress.  We ended up loving the new dress even more than the dress we originally had chosen:

E-bay for $55, including shipping. Dessy’s Venetian Gold (same as bridesmaid’s), new in bag, with tags. I didn’t want ivory or white. Don’t know if it was ever tried on? Discontinued style, but I liked it better than current ones, which cost around $150. Win-win all around!

My beautiful niece Tessa on our wedding day. I don’t remember where she got the dress, but I know it was online.

I got mine from a department store…Dillards, I think. I got a great price, $45 per dress!  Ivory with pink flowers that matched my colors!  Win!

I had originally found some green dresses at Belk for $20 a dress, so if you try department stores in the spring you can find great deals on dresses.  I just saw a really cute dress at Costco of all places…it was soo pretty!!
