I found some really cute and inexpensive options at Target, JC Penny, and Macy’s.  Easter dresses are out so they have some nice spring colors now!

I got mine from Macy’s yesterday 2 dresses for $104 dollars and they are completely ivory. They aren’t on the website though, I happened to stumble across them in the store!

Try http://www.ChildrensPlace.com they have a couple darker, but summery, dresses in their “big girl” sectionlike this one for $39 and change….You might also try their store clearance rack, they had a lot of pretty red/black and blue on clearance a couple weeks ago

Good Luck!

These I came across by searching on amazon.com

Product DetailsGirls' Cherokee® Dot Dress - Black

Both are 19.99 from Target online

There were actually a lot of really cute dresses that came up on the Amazon search (my 8 year old was excited, I had to tell her they weren’t for her 🙂  )

Sorry Cricket, should have read a little closer! This happened to me with bridesmaid dresses from Ann Taylor that clearenced out all of the “dark colors” and now I can’t get the right sizes. Completely understand your frustration!

I think I went to Amazon, then apparral then childrens, then girls, then dresses…then discovered that these are Target.com dresses being sold through amazon :)–so maybe try Target first, and then try my convaluted path through amazon!  My  daughter will get over it, she is (impatiently) waiting for her Jr. Bridesmaid dress for her Aunt’s wedding!
