- Wedding: September 2011
Our flower girl is my future sister-in-law’s 3 yr old daughter. I’ve told Future Sister-In-Law that she should pick a few dresses out online that she likes and that I will ok a bunch of them. The only thing I’ve said is NO bright pink as I don’t like the color and it doesn’t go with our wedding.
Future Sister-In-Law has shown me two dresses so far and I said that both are great (one is gold and one is pale pink). Now she is telling me that she really wants to buy a bright pink one with sequins all over the top because she thinks its the best one and her daughter really wants to wear pink.
Am I rude to say that I do not like the dress as it doesn’t match our colors or venue (think old foundry building- lots of exposed brick and old wood floors and vaulted wood ceiling)? Since she already found one pink one that she likes (which I also like) can’t she just get that one?
Worse, my fiance just said to his sister that she can do whatever she wants. The last time I checked this was OUR wedding. Not his sister’s. I am totally flexiable with colors- but I was so explict about NO bright pink- HELP!!
