@dodgercpkl: I love this idea! So sweet, and I bet it made her feel extra important!

@Showers:  It did!  She loved the fact that it was different and more “grownup” (her words not mine) then her last flowergirl job.  lol

I worked a wedding where the Flower Girls rang bells and said “The Bride is coming”.  It was soo cute.

Depending on how little she is, these are also really cute…. but I think they would be best for someone younger…. under 5, maybe?

I love the “here comes the bride” signs… Some of them are just to die for!

You can have her be a bell ringer instead and announce here comes the bride.  Also, I heard of them carrying pinwheels which I think is super cute!

I am having 5 flower girls and the two youngest will be carrying the flower wands like above, the two middle ones will be ringing bells and the oldest is going to carry a “Here Comes The Bride” sign.

My Niece carried a bouquet that was identical to mine, just scaled down! She loved it! Made her feel like one of the older girls! If she would be willing to part with it, that would make a great bouquet to toss at the reception. We actually did that, but instead of the toss, we gave it to the couple that was left during the anniversery dance!

I am thinking of having a bell ringer at mine. I have also seen some carry a Bible (or holy book of your choosing) or a pillow.

Ours will carry a basket of flowers–I found a super cute Easter basket in our colors on clearance!  🙂

I like the mini bouquet idea.  She’ll tie in with the bridesmaids.

Mini bouquets are adorable. All the weddings I have been to lately had the flower girls carrying the flower ball things…

Our flower girl also carried a mini bouquet.  I thought it worked out great!

When I was 4 I was the flower girl in my uncle’s wedding.  I carried a white basket filled with silk flowers, which I got to keep afterwards (this was pretty exciting for 4 year old me!).

No need to drop petals. They just walk and look so sweet. Mine had a pomander.

Give your flower girl the book “Lily’s Big Day” and she will be so excited about walking down the aisle and smiling at all the people, looking side to side, side to side.  Mine practiced ALL the time for so many months before because of the sweet description in the book.  Here she is:
