I recently found out that the church I am getting married in does not allow follow petals to be dropped on the floor. I understand that it is for safety purpuses, but now I am not sure what my flower girl should do. The flower girl is my niece who I have already asked, to not have a flower girl would break her heart. I still want her to be up in the wedding party but now am not sure what she should do. what have you other bees done/seen done at weddings where flowers were prohibited from being thrown on the floor?

Could you have her carry a ‘here comes the bride’ sign?

@HappilyEverAfter54: I love this! If I cave and decide to have a flower girl or 2, this is definately what we will be doing!

@misschickpea: isn’t that sweet? I think you could probably make them yourself pretty cheap too if your a crafty person? I want to make one for my friends wedding! =)

I like @HappilyEverAfter54: ‘s idea of a sign! Have her wear a flower wreath in her hair 🙂

What are the rules by the church for petals outside? Because what you could do is have her carrying a basket with cones of petals to give to people to throw outside.
