(Closed) Flower girl? Ring bearer?

Okay so I have a little cousin who will be almost 7 at the time of the wedding. I know she would love to be a flower girl and is so well behaved that I would love to have her. The only other little ones or “wee-ones” as Fiance calls them are his brother’s kids. His brother has two step children, one boy and one girl who will be about 5 & 6. He also has a newborn son that will be 18 months at the time of the wedding. Future Mother-In-Law has some concerns about the FBIL’s step-kids behaving because at his own wedding they were all over the place. They even dug their hands into the cake while no one was looking. I feel like if we invite one of the four to be in the wedding we’ll need to invite all of them. What do you think?

Should I only have a flower girl and no ring bearer?

Should I have two flower girls and two ring bearers?

Is 18 months too young to walk down the aisle? He’ll have his brother to help him.

Sometimes we go overboard trying to protect children from hurt feelings. You do not have to ask all the children in one family to participate. You could ask the older boy to be the ring bearer if you so choose.

You could have only a flower girl if you think the other children will not behave. The best man and the Maid/Matron of Honor can carry the rings.

I’m haveing two flower girls my nieces as flower girls, 5 and 2 at time of wedding. And FI’s cousins son who will be 3 at the wedding. I had planed on my nieces in the wedding since they were born lol. And Fiance requested th ring bearer. 

I say go with you gut on who you want in the wedding and who you think will behave.
