Mine carried a pomander because she couldn’t toss petals in the church.

I think it depends on the context, if it is a garden wedding then thats cute, but in a church I think it boarders on disrespectful. My cousin wanted to dress her flower girl up as a fairy and her page poy as an elf :/

My flower girl did! We were married in old homestrad cottage surrounded by gardens. My florist made the wand so it was like a bouquet  on a stick! I actually had one made for my page boy as well because I knew as soon as he had seen hers he’s want one!

Yes my flower girls carried wands, they were soo pretty and I was really pleased I decided to get them. At previous weddings I’ve seen flower girls (inadvertently!!) demolish a bouquet simply because they’re not used to holding one! The wands looked cute and age appropriate – but this is only my opinion! I had a church wedding and hotel reception for 100 guests 🙂

Edit: We bought the wands from the same florist who did all the bouquets. The wands had some small flowers on them so were kind of ‘half-bouquets’ which I don’t think looked out of place at a church wedding.

The flower wands can be quite darling! Great alternative in churches where petals are not allowed.
