How young is really too young? My niece will be about a year and a half when I get married, and I would LOVE for her to do it, but I don’t think she’ll be old enough to walk down the aisle unaccompanied. Has anyone been to a wedding where the flower girl was really little? How was it done? Thanks!

I’ve seen the mom carry or hold their hand, a wagon, older flower girls and boys help them down the aisle. How does her mom feel about her being in the wedding?

Fiance wants his cousin to be the ring bearer, so maybe he could help her down the aisle. I haven’t talked to her mom yet, but if she could escort her that might be a good idea.

i have 2 FG’s. one is 5 and one is 1.5. SHe is so cute I had to do it. if you are having a ringbearer, have them walk together….whats the worst that can happen?

I was at a wedding where the flower girl was just shy of 2. Her mom and dad were both in the wedding party so they walked down the aisle with her between them. After they got to the front, a babysitter was standing by to take her out of the room before her attention span disappeared and she started to act like a 2 year old. It was one of the cutest things I have ever seen and she was a perfect flower girl.

Ive seen it a lot where the little one comes down being pulled in a little wagon. it can be pretty cute at times.
