I need some help from flower savory bees. I don’t know flowers. I don’t particularly care about flowers but I need to figure out what to tell florists for what I am looking for.
What I do know, I want some fun, bright flowers. Right now, I really like this picture:
But I have no idea what types of flowers these are. I also don’t want to spend a lot of money on flowers (since they’re not something I care too much about). can someone tell me what these are? And what some alternatives might be…especially cheap alternatives?
Also, my florist is currently quoting me for orchids, waxflower, spray roses, green hydrangea lisianthus and says the total cost for the bouquets and corsages (four bouquets, three corsages) at $450. Is this good? Not that I know how that would look. I hate flowers.

I think those are gerber daisies. The other ones look like some kind of tropical flower. Sorry, I only know the one.

The pink flowers look like Gerber Daisies. The blue ones are some type of Orchid. Either Dendrobiums or Cymbidium or Phalaenopsis Orchids. And it also looks like there are some Bird of Paradise petals and leaves. Also, note that the pink and blue flowers are dyed (probably by dyeing the water they absorb/sit in. So they are not natural colors, if that might bother you. What are your color palettes? Usually I don’t like the look of dyed flowers, but this bouquette is tasteful and I like it 🙂

If I’m not mistaken the other ones are blue orchids, like these: (sorry about the size)

@sommertime: My main colours are teal, orange, and yellow. There will probably be some green in there as well.
I agree, it’s a really nice bouquet. It’s been one of the only things I’ve seen so far.
