Ok, so I am meeting with a florist for the first time this Saturday. She wants me to bring some pictures of what I want…. but I don’t know what I want! I’ve posted a picture of my bridesmaid dresses… we are doing a black and white wedding, and I am torn between bright pink flowers, an assortment of pink roses (different shades), or all white flowers.
I am having a hard time because I’m not sure what will look right with the black and white dresses. My dress is all white with crystal embellishments. Any picture ideas/opinions would be greatly appreciated!

What’s the look you are going for? Do you want flowers that add a bit of pop, romantic, something elegant, sleek and modern or understated? If you start with the feel you want with your flowers, it can really help you narrow it down.

Here are some cool black and white wedding flower ideas:

This is tough because it really does depend on the overall feel you are going for at your wedding. A more casual affair may be better with various shades of the same color (pink if that’s the color scheme you are going with). But if you are going with a more formal feel, you’d probably be better off with all white, white and black, or all one color.
But, if you do all white, I would suggest touches of green to liven it up a little.

@rosychicklet: Wow those are beautiful! Thanks!! I seriously like every one of those bouquets lol. I’m definitely going to bring those with me this weekend!
@Opus: I want something elegant and romantic… I just don’t want the flowers to look blah next to all the black and white, if that makes any sense?

Yup, I’d stick with the black and white look. Or maybe if you do want pink, I’d suggest a pale pink. I like the bouquets the other bee’s have posted. I think too much pink only in the flowers and not anywhere else might be distracting. But I love flowers of all colors so either way they’ll be great.

@rosychicklet- The 2nd photo and the last one ar gorgeous!
I would say go woth B&W as well and maybe add some crystal pins/ embelishments.

Ok, I got rid of the poll because I think I may go the black and white route 🙂 What kind of flowers are in the last picture? The ones with the black center? (I’m clueless hehe). I also like these flowers, even though they are pink….
Wow, I haven’t been indecisive about anything related to wedding planning thus far, except for the flowers… the bouqets in particular! Anyone else having/had a hard time with this too?!
