I think this is similar to the tacori bloom. Honestly, when I tried it on, I felt like I was wearing a very expensive little girl ring. The flower just wasn’t for me. I know this is a very popular style though.

I love the design you picked out. I have also seen a bee with one very similar…

Anyways, here’s my flower ring, which has two circles around the center stone and looks perfectly round on the outer edge. It’s a different design but I can tell you that it sparkes like crazy!!! I love how the light is picked up by the very many facets throughout the design.

@MrsShev:  Really?! That’s awesome! Let me know if we ever become ring twins ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have to say one huge advantage is how secure the center stone is in this set. It’s held by 10 prongs and it’s «inset» so it doesn’t stick out high and get caught in things. The basket keeps the ring stable on the finger. I was attracted to the sparkle and the romantic look of it ๐Ÿ™‚

In case you don’t like the heart filigree (but you might!), I had it removed for free by the jeweler. It opens up the basket in a V shape and makes it easier to clean. I also changed out the shank to platinum and a straight style instead of tapered. Makes it more modern.

Here’s the unaltered basket on someone else:

@MrsShev:  It’s from Peoples, the Zales equivalent in Canada ๐Ÿ˜‰ Work with the jeweler if you want modifications! Some they can do, some they can’t. Show pics of mine if you ever do something similar. It’ll show them it’s possible ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sorry Im so late, here is mine. He worked with a local independent jeweler. Andrew’s Jewelers has a very similar ring.
