I’d probably leave this one.  There are plenty of people out there who are capable of making things grow, I am not one of those people.  I killed a chia pet.  A CHIA PET!!!!

If you’re having a garden wedding, or plant/spring/wildflower wedding, then this type of favor suits your theme.

I tend to prefer edible favors.  A heart shaped cookie, jordan almonds, mint tins, baggies of M&M’s, cake pops, cupcakes, chocolate dipped strawberries, chocolate dipped anything really.

Sorry but I wouldn’t want this. I live in an apartment and I’m not really interested in gardening.

I would love to recieve seeds as I am always trying to improve my not so green thumb. My Fiance would more than likely give his to me as well, lucky me! I can definitely see how not everyone would be as enthusiastic about this though.

Check out seed bombs- they are a fun alternative and any one can grow them- they are small & you can package them uniquely.

I’d think it was an adorable favor, then leave it on a shelf and forget about it. Eventually I might try to grow it, but it’d die, because I’m bad at plants.

they have special seed packets where you just plant the whole packet, which i think is easier for people who arent into gardening…..the packets are biodegradable..you just dig a whole drop in the packet and cover and water it…..i think its a super cute idea for a spring wedding, summer and fall its a bit late for planting.

I honestly dont think very many people would plant them but I would LOVE them as a favor.. the other day little neutrino and I went to lowes and bought some seeds to plant.. and we are so amazed that they actuallly worked for some reason lol! It is so cool! She waters them and watches them….would prob be a lot of fun for those with children. (if they take them home)

My brother did this at his wedding in October- I personally LOVED it but I know not everyone did because at the end of the night there was a lot on the tables- all of which i totally snagged!
