@Cynderbug: Pink roses of any kind, gerberas, dahlia (though I don’t know when they’re in season)

@Cynderbug:  “In-season” is kind of relative since most flowers come from South America unless you plan on using locally grown flowers. There are a lot of budget friendly options, especially if you’re willing to DIY some or all of your flowers.

For example wholesale roses can usually be had for less than $1 (USD) and spray roses are around $1.50/stem But have multiple blooms. Some “filler” flowers are really beautiful and usually cost between $0.50-$1.50 a stem. A good one is Peruvian Lilies, which come in all colors. Snapdragons, Godetia, Larkspur, Phlox, and Stock are all budget-friendly and come in your color palette. Carnations and mini-carnations are extremely economical. Football Mums have really large blooms and can be had for $1/stem. Another way to keep costs down is to do single stems in bud vases for centerpieces. You would only need 3-4 vases on a table and could keep the total cost under $10/table if you DIY’d them (ie stick a flower in each vase). What kind of arrangements were you thinking of? Do you have a vibe or theme you’re going for? If you find an inspiration picture you could probably find a way to replace any expensive flowers with more economical ones.

@Cynderbug:  Shamelessly posting my bouquet… My colours sound similar to yours, actually. White carnations and dusty pink/soft peach roses. I have no idea whether these are in season at the right time where you are, but where I am roses and carnations are generally “easy” flowers to obtain.

@Cynderbug:  This might help! It’s a guide to help with flowers and colors and a setting a budget. Good luck!
