GREAT job!! I agree with Lilacgal, please give us a link to the tutorial! 🙂

Also, how many flowers did you use in the bouquet? I’m still torn between making my own with real roses an or just ordering premade silk for my BM’s!

Well done you, they look fantastic!

The only thing I would maybe consider altering is the bout, it seems to me like it could use a little something… like maybe a bigger leaf, I don’t know?  Ignore me if you wish, just thought I’d be honest!  Oh and while I’m about it, apparently rose leaves (if that’s what you’ve used in the bout) wilt very quicky, but I guess you’ll know within the next 4-5 hours if that’s true.  I just read it somewhere.

Isn’t it amazing how well ordinary grocery flowers can turn out… God only knows what a florist would have charged you for those ! Well done again!

I definitely don’t think you need greenery. I actually think that looks JUST how I want my bouquet to look, except, I want dark red roses.

Great job.  I did a trial run and it came out surprising well also.  I love the simplicity and beauty of a bouquet of just roses.

Edit:  I don’t know for sure because I haven’t tried them yet but I have heard very good things about ordering roses online from Costco.

@kcollier84:

Good job! I can’t see the bout’s leaves, but consider silk leaves, maybe 3 (I can’t remember what I used when I worked @ the flower shop). I would also use green floral tape (or white to match the bride for the groom’s bout). Also try starting all the way up with the ribbon on the bouquet. Have fun and good luck!
