I am not quite sure where to post this. But, I have 2 flower girls (my daughter and the daughter of a BM).. but the only friend that has a son.. is a flake. I know she will agree to having her son in the wedding and then at the last min say she has to work :-/ um.. its a Destination Wedding, you should have taken off of work! But anywho.. thats a diff thread lol Would it be strange to have one girl with the flowers and one with the pillow? Our chapel doesn’t allow any flowers to be tossed.. so we are going to have pomanders. Would it be ok to have one girl with a normal one and another with the rings attached? Has anyone ever done/seen this? Or have any other suggestions?

I have seen where there are two flowergirls and no rb. One carried flowers and the other carried the pillow. Who says a girl can’t be a ringbearer?!?!

I think its perfectly find to have one carry a pillow. Its a wedding, do whatever you like. But you could also just have them each carry a pomanders and have no ring bearer.

@PuntaCanaBride: what about attaching the rings to the ribbon on the pomanders? would that be too strange?

Why not? It sounds lovely!

I think you (and maybe myself) could make it work! =)
I too have two Flower Girls and I did have a Ring Bearer, but he and his mom will no longer be apart of our wedding party. Stupid Family Drama. I was JUST thinking of how it might look!
I even found a great tutorial/template in making a cute ring pillow! Definitely loving the idea of one “sprinkling” flowers and the other carrying the ring! Best of Luck!

@CupCakeMeg: lol thanks! i think maybe i will attach one ring per girl and have them both come up to the alter and have the rings untied… i think it might be really cute!
